Welcome to plfc.org.uk
Pound Lane Free Church (plfc) is an independent evangelical church in Isleham, Cambridgeshire, affiliated to the FIEC. We meet regularly Sunday morning and evening for worship and teaching, and have a range of midweek activities to meet the needs of different age groups.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) information (Updated: 6th November 2020)
As of the 2nd December 2020, Cambridgeshire is under Tier 4 restrictions.
Due to this, we are continuing Wednesday Church Nights via Zoom and not opening for Thursday Coffee Morning. If you would like to join us for our Wednesday evening Zoom studies, please contact the pastor.
Sunday morning services and Sunday morning youth groups are running again, with observance of the tier-based restrictions.
Prior to the second lockdown and subsequent Tier 4 restrictions, and in line with the social distancing requirements and various specific guidelines published by the UK government, we were:
- Holding all-age Sunday morning services at 10:30 in the main church building, during which there will be no singing, refreshments, or social opportunity. All households and Support Bubbles will be required to keep a 2 metre distance from each other.
- Holding Wednesday evening Church Night at 19:20 in the main church hall. All households and Support Bubbles will be required to keep a 2 metre distance from each other.
- Holding Coffee Mornings in the main church building, during which there will be strict 2 metre social distancing and at-table food serving as prescribed by the UK government for restaurants at this time.
You can read the measures we have taken to conform to government guidelines online.
If you would like further information on any aspect of the church's work or if we can be of help to you in any way, please do not hesitate to contact us.
